Such a good read! I read of Mr. Sherrill's testimony in another book and went on a search for this particular read, it was right on time! I really appreciate the honesty of the author from being to end. I could relate to the questions and then understood the revelation the author explains as seasons changed.

A believable story, telling how people received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit in different ways, even though they originally didn't believe. Very good for one to fully understand how one can learn about it and receive it. A very good book for somehow not knowledgeable in Bible teaching on the subject.

decent intro to sports betting

This introductory level book explains the various bets you can make, and does a good job explaining why most bettors lose in the long run, identifying countless fallacies relied on by losing bettors. The author also identifies various metrics that can be used to evaluate teams. Unfortunately this portion is not well organized and reads like a stream of consciousness. Still, there are a few good things to think about (which most winning better already consider). It would have been nice to see a method to put all these different ideas together into one opinion on a game.

I know nothing about the NFL, but last season I made a pretty decent profit betting on it by following the advice from Matt Rudnitsky's pieces at SportsGrid.

Now, that doesn't mean that you should sell all your belongings and go an stick all the money on whatever picks he comes up with this week. That kind of "easy money" or "sure fire winner" mentality is exactly what Matt demolishes in this book. Betting on sports (especially the NFL) is hard, but if you are a casual gambler and want to increase your chances of turning a profit then you should read this book and heed the advice.

The book focuses mostly on NFL but there is lots of good general advice on how to approach betting on any sport, as well as some satisfying ridicule of the inane analysis served up by most pundits and "experts.

If you want to improve your sports betting, especially if you have an interest in the NFL, this book is a must read.

Have checked out a bunch of these betting advice books, and this one trumps them all. Especially recommended for someone trying to learn/get into betting. Gives you such a solid foundation. Starts off with basics and then gets into more advanced tips that will give you an edge! Also, very clearly written, and is an easy read!

Olle Wadstr�m is a lic. psychologist, and lic. psychotherapist who specializes in CBT, he is an approved CBT-counselor, a specialist in the field of clinical psychology and pedagogic psychology. He is currently working as a psychologist, a CBT-psychotherapist, counselor, supervisor, author and teacher/lecturer in the company Psykologinsats.
During the years he has treated over 700 clients/patients with anxiety problems and disorders.
He has written several books about self-injurious behavior, behavior analysis in everyday life, behavior analysis for athlets, OCD its causes and treatment. All but Quit Ruminatring are just published in Swedish language.
His book about rumination is based on an article published in the scientific journal

Love, love, love this book! This guy is brilliant in explaining CBT coping strategies and techniques that really works! I’ve read it twice and this book has been such a tremendous treasure in helping me cope with my daughter’s life-threatening disease!

Additionaly, He goes above and beyond the techniques in a way – because his advise will help you deal with how you think of life, on a deeper level.

I feel truly thankful for all the strength I found by reading this wonderful book!

In this book Olle Wadstr�m presents a new model to treat your worry and ruminations. We have recently tested this treatment in a randomized trial with promising results, (will be published in an international journal soon). About the Author
Charles Donagh Maginnis (January 7, 1867 - 1955) was an Irish architect. He emigrated to Boston at age 18, trained as an architect and went on to form the firm Maginnis & Walsh, designing ecclesiastical and campus buildings across America. From 1937 to 1939 Maginnis held the office of President of the American Institute of Architects.

A Very Poor Reproduction of a Wonderful Book

I sincerely regret purchasing this particular version of this title. I had previously downloaded the free PDF file of this title from Project Gutenberg and printed a copy on my office laser printer. It is far superior to this version. The drawings are such low resolution and fuzzy in this version as to be almost useless. I should have been tipped off by the ballpoint pen cover illustration someone thought to stick on this vintage text about pen and ink drawing. This is a wonderful title for anyone who cares about style and art in pen and ink drawing. But save yourself the disappointment and cost of buying this version. Download the free PDF and print it on any old inkjet printer. You'll have a much higher quality product.

BLEW ME AWAY!

I picked this book up when I was in the mood to read a sweeping romance, and this perfectly fit the bill. The writing was sophisticated and balanced, and it drew me in whether or not I wanted to be! These two intelligent and complex characters seeped into my thoughts and into my heart. I couldn't wait to pick up the book again and get lost in their romance.

The love story between Nick and Shyla was beautiful and nostalgic, healing and intoxicating, steamy and innocent. I was swept away and didn't want the story to finish. A major twist at the end surprised me--and not even the twist I expected--and it had me speeding through just to find out what happened. Then I had to reread the ending just to savor the moments, the discovery, the forgiveness...the love. This one gets you right in the heart.

Oh, and it had an amazing epilogue. Get this book!

Handsome Boy and Beautiful Girl

I had pretty much worked out the plot before I finished the story but that didn't spoil the enjoyment. It is a romantic love story set in New York. The two protagonists are a male novel writer and a female East Indian student. The story is a story within a story but is well written with the main story broken up by chapters of the second story. It is compelling reading which was hard to put down. There are sexual scenes and some swearing which were in context and didn't spoil the story for me. Highly recommended.

you can give this book a try but don't be disappointed because of this forewarning

I took a chance on reading this book because it is not my usual genre. It was okay, no major complaints. As I got close to the end, I figured it would end in either two scenarios which I had in mind; and I was correct. There was a little unexpected twist I did not anticipate and found that concept interesting. I do feel that they rushed the end. If you have the patience and need a different genre, you can give this book a try but don't be disappointed because of this forewarning.
